Process Alphabet

Specimen showing hand-drawn letters
Brochure (specimen) presenting the result of a one-week workshop given at the preparatory school Têtard, Lausanne. First, students would devise various drawing ‘instructions’. Then they would draw them randomly and execute them to draw capital letters. Finally, 3 versions of each letter was photocopied on top of each other.

Processus

  • Cover of the leaflet made during the workshop I gave at Têtard
    Cover of the brochure made during the workshop I gave at Têtard art school, Lausanne. The students have elaborated a series of short instructions. For each page, they drew three of them by lot and made them. The results were then simply overlaid. The page number was made with one of the instructions.
